THE VILLAGE OF DALTON IS HIRING The Village of Dalton is seeking a dedicated BPA Clerk who is committed to outstanding customer service, possesses impeccable integrity, demonstrates outstanding organizational skills, and thrives as a team player. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential.
Duties include utility billing, processing payments, making deposits, basic bookkeeping tasks and other duties as assigned by the Fiscal Officer. The successful candidate must effectively communicate and work with customers, vendors and other coworkers.

*Village Trick-or-Treat Hours*The village will observe trick-or-treating on Halloween, Saturday, October 31, from 2:00PM to 5:00PM
*Village Leaf Collection*Leaf pickup starts in
early November (1st or 2nd week). The Street Department will be making continuous rounds, till the end of November no fixed date for individual streets.
How to participate:- Rake leaves directly to the curb.
- OR, bring them to the dedicated leaf bin located at the Street Department.
PLEASE NOTE: Absolutely
NO sticks, rocks or grass in leaf piles or in the Street Department bin!
*Hydrant Flushing Notice*The village will be conducting routine fire hydrant flushing from
November 1 through November 15th. Residents may experience temporary water discoloration or reduced water pressure during this time. If your water appears discolored, please run your cold water until it runs clear before using it.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to maintain the village's water system.

FINANCE COMMITTEE - Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00.
Village Council - Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
Board of Public Affairs - Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month @ 10 am in the lower level of Village Hall
PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - Wednesday, October 28 at 5 PM at the police department.
PLANNING COMMISSION - Meets as needed.
CRA Committee - Meets as needed.
