DALTON VILLAGE COUNCIL VACANCY
Due to a recent resignation, the Village of Dalton currently has an opening on village council. This is a term that will expire December 31st, 2029. Anyone interested in being considered to fill the open seat must drop off a letter of interest to Dalton Village Hall, 1 W Main St. Dalton, Ohio 44618. You may also e-mail your letter of interest to townhall@daltonohio.gov.

CROSSING GUARD NEEDEDThe Village of Dalton is seeking a Crossing Guard for the 2026-2027 school year. Position requires morning and afternoon availability, Monday through Friday, in accordance with the Dalton Local School calendar. Approximately 7-8 hours per week, competitive wages. Upcoming public meetings in the Village:STREET COMMITTEE - Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 5:00.
FINANCE COMMITTEE - Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00. They will also be holding a meeting on Wednesday, August 19 at 9:30 am.
Village Council - Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month
Board of Public Affairs - Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month @ 10 am in the lower level of Village Hall
PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - Tuesday, August 11 at 5 PM at Village Hall
PLANNING COMMISSION - Meets as needed
